Target Metabolism's main mission is to help you learn about YOUR specific body...because every BODY is different! By knowing what YOUR body needs, you can start to work WITH it and target fatty-tissue loss. We start by measuring how many calories YOU burn in a day. We never set a client up on a program based on averages (as Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and others do). Instead, every single client is given a custom-tailored program based on their specific body's needs. We measure your Resting Metabolic Rate through a method called Indirect Calorimety. Our equipment is FDA approved.

We also offer the most accurate way to measure body fat. This service is called the BodPod and is a very important tool in our system. By tracking percent body fat, we can ensure during your weight loss program, that it is positively fatty tissue you are losing, and NOT lean muscle mass or simply water! In addition, if someone loses 1 pound on the scale, who says that person hasn't lost 3 pounds of fat and gained 2 pounds of lean mass? THIS is why we weigh you in by the BodPod...so you can eliminate being frustrated and ALWAYS understand what your body is doing. In our system, we target fatty tissue loss by "Targeting YOUR Metabolism".
