In July, 2007, Target Metabolism hosted a county-wide Biggest Loser Contest in Hendricks County! This contest lasted 5 months and was judged by results in the BodPod!
Proceeds of this contest have been given to the "Target Metabolism Fund for Fitness and Health" housed by the Hendricks County Community Foundation.
$2400.00 will go to area Health and PE classrooms to fund pieces of equipment that help teach our youth LIFETIME principles of health and fitness.
This is the first generation of kids in history whose life expectancy is NOT expected to surpass our own! This is due to childhood obesity and its link to an increase in the incidence of diabetes and other health problems in our youth today. This Grant Fund is Target Metabolism's way to fight childhood obesity!
